Dragon doodle for fun. :) i was going for a watery effect with the brushes. I got most of what i wanted out of this. Need to experiment more with watery effects...

very nice it is too! - some reflection of the dragons tail in the water on the left there might have been a nice touch, but it's still beautiful without it.
Have you used any tutorials or anything for speed painting that you could recommend? .. I know you're using painter, aren't you? (while I'm stuck with photoshop) but I'm trying to learn the technique at the moment and I could use all the help I can get!

actually i'm using photoshop only. i found through practice that I can effectively duplicate almost all of the techniques I enjoyed in painter.
as for tutorials on speedpainting, I don't know of any that are free (i'm sure there are some, but i don't know where they are), but I can put up a dev of my process and what I'm thinking about when I speedpaint.
would that help?
