Despite the noise level and the desaturation of color in this shot, it's one of my favorites that I've taken.
My friend and neighbor called me on my cell as he was on his way to pick up his brother from work to let me know that there were these really crazy cloud formations outside. So of course I snatched my camera and tripod and jumped out to the driveway. 360 degrees around me was this cast just on the horizon of strange clouds that kind of resembled a jaggy mountain wall. I couldn't duplicate that image on film because of course, photographs aren't cylindrical, so you couldn't get the same impression, but this shot shows one unique cloud that was hanging off beyond the corner edge of my front yard. It looks alot like a huge ocean wave in my opinion. |
