I almost had the craziest road kill ever today.

I was driving home from the video store after buying a copy of max Payne (starring everyone's favorite- Marky mark ((I know this is a crap movie. i can't help liking it. I have a disease that attracts me to horrible movies)) )
anywho, it was dark out and I had my brights on. My sis was in the car with me and we saw a thing in the middle of the road that looked like a paper lunch bag standing up. I thought since I couldn't avoid it, i'd line up my car and drive over it, when to my horror, the top half of it spun around and two HUGE eyes were staring at me.
My sister just went " HO--!!!"
It was a freakin OWL!!
The thing started taking off like an albatross. it was the clumsiest thing. I swear I must have just spanked it with my bumper because it was SUCH a close call. It got away though luckily.
What's with that?! How do you almost hit an owl with your car?!
