Well I haven't been on DA for quite some time now. A couple of years actually. I kind of dropped off when work started picking up. I had a lot of ground to cover to get my skills up to a level where I felt I was really contributing at work in a way that could help my team. In doing that, I lost the time to do artwork for myself or anyone else really. It took a long time, but I've learned how to balance and now I'm ready to get back into the swing of doing art just for fun outside of work. Time to get to it! I'll be posting some work soon. It'll be a few days before I can put up some real work. (I have a few projects to get going that I can

YA RLY!!

I almost had the craziest road kill ever today. I was driving home from the video store after buying a copy of max Payne (starring everyone's favorite- Marky mark ((I know this is a crap movie. i can't help liking it. I have a disease that attracts me to horrible movies)) ) anywho, it was dark out and I had my brights on. My sis was in the car with me and we saw a thing in the middle of the road that looked like a paper lunch bag standing up. I thought since I couldn't avoid it, i'd line up my car and drive over it, when to my horror, the top half of it spun around and two HUGE eyes were staring at me. My sister just went " HO--!!!" It w

animals like us

So I had another one of those random science-y thoughts. I was thinking about all the traits and behaviors that we attribute to intelligence that animals also share. I came up with a few. If you guys have more, I'd love to hear them. Rats can laugh (as far as I know, they are the only other animal shown to exhibit this behavior besides humans) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myuceywaOUs Dolphins have names for eachother. (couldn't find a clip on that, but here's one just as good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jz3sQsTE5tA ) Primates can pass down invented behaviors through generations (I couldn't find the discovery channel clip, but here

Are you still around? Haven't seen much from you for a while!
Hey man! Thanks for checking up on me. Sorry I didn't get your messages until now. I've been offline for a looooong time. Hope things are well!
Hey... look who is back... yay,... finally someone from the early days :-) .... what have you been up to? Missed your drawings... I have en eee-pad now an have been doing some doodling... its fun
Been working pretty aggressively for a while, but I've been needing to do my own art for a while now to get back some fun and creativity. Also, need to start polishing skills and studying outside of work. :)
How's that E-Pad? One of my friends was thinking about getting one of those. Oh- have you seen the new wacom inkling too? That was pretty mindblowing to me. I think I'll have to get one of those as well.
